much hotter than nuclear engineering. The field
boasts the
second-highest median salary for all
engineering occupations: $99,920 according to
the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), which
also predicts a 10% growth rate for employment
through the end of the decade, one of the higher
