Grand Gulf: Plant has benefitted state

Grand Gulf is a safe, reliable asset to Mississippi
Entergy's Grand Gulf Nuclear Station was opened amid controversy 25 years ago, but the concerns raised then seem insignificant today, according to an editorial in The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, Miss. Now that the plant may be expanding, it deserves the support of the people, the newspaper says. "A second unit could be in the future for Grand Gulf. Overall, Grand Gulf has benefited Mississippi and the region and will for many years to come." The Clarion-Ledger (Jackson, Miss.)
