Areva, FNEG to develop advanced nuclear reactor in California
France's Areva signed a agreement to develop a 1,600-megawatt European Pressurized Reactor in California's Central Valley with Fresno Nuclear Energy Group. "Our goal is to create a power-producing infrastructure that combines clean electric energy sources, including nuclear, solar, and future technologies," said John Hutson, president of FNEG, in a statement.
