Work on North Korea's New Reactor Advancing, IAEA Says

North Korea in the last year has made "significant progress" in its work on an experimental nuclear reactor at the Yongbyon complex, according to new findings by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The U.N. nuclear watchdog also said satellite pictures have revealed "certain activities" at areas where the North in the past has detonated atomic devices, Reuters reported on Friday. However, "without access to the locations the agency is unable to provide a technical assessment of the purpose of these activities or of whether nuclear material is being used," according to the yearly report provided to IAEA member countries.
The agency has not been allowed into North Korea since 2009/http://www.nti.org/gsn/article/work-north-koreas-new-reactor-notably-advancing-iaea-says/
