Technology Review has just announced the 2012 TR35,
our annual list of 35 outstanding men and women under 35 who
exemplify the spirit of innovation in business and technology. Blazing
new paths in energy, medicine, computing, and materials, this year's
winners winners are fixing medical data, slowing down light signals,
cutting buildings' energy use by a third, rethinking prenatal care,
finding new approaches to developing alternative energy and food
sources, and more. All 35 honorees have something in common: their work
