Much has been written about hydraulic fracturing, while "green" alternatives are endorsed but not examined.We will not meet our energy needs just by putting solar panels on our houses. It will require acres of solar panels that will displace agriculture and can't be hidden behind trees and hills as we can do with gas wells. Imagine the attraction to tourists of driving upstate highways bounded by acres of picturesque solar panels.
