Westinghouse says it is unaffected by Constellation decision
 

Constellation Energy Group's decision to halt plans to expand its Calvert Cliffs nuclear plant in Maryland will not affect Westinghouse Electric's operations, said Aris Candris, CEO of Westinghouse. However, Constellation's withdrawal, which was prompted by "unworkable" federal loan-guarantee terms, raises concerns for the country's nuclear energy sector, Aris added. "It didn't really make sense for Constellation to go forward," he said. Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
